With two races left in the books; Garden State Classic and Woody's 105 winner Jimmy Blewett currently on top of the charts with six wins and a 55 point lead. Blewett 37, is going into the twin events and setting his sights to defend his point lead along with a possible third Modified crown since winning it in 2002 (which was his last). Steven Reed, who is the current defending two time track king in his potent family owned #55 and, has a single win this season. Reed 32, is still in contention for the title search by finishing the events and, would like to get another victory before the season is out. Andrew Krause, who is 17 points behind Reed for the Runner Up spot with two wins and, would like to pick up stronger points before the season ends. Derek Hopkinson, sitting in fourth place with two wins. 17 year old phenom Blake Barney, having a solid season wrapping up the top five.
In the Snap On Sportsman, Tyler Truex is searching for his first ever Wall Stadium track title with three races remaining. Truex, known as the cousin of NASCAR Monster Energy Cup star Martin Truex, Jr. In fact, the Truex name is familiar to Wall Stadium throughout the 1980's and 1990's with success. Defending Champion Kevin Davidson, sitting in second with a 36 point difference from the top spot with a single victory and would like to get another win before the season concludes. Jarret DiGiantomasso, currently third with two feature wins. The Sisco Kid, Kyle Sisco sitting in third with two main event victories. Eric Lane wrapping up the top five in points with no wins.
