This isn't Kool N the Gang, it's ladies night for the female fans will be $10 admission for them to enter the gates this Saturday.
There are female racers at Wall; Shawna Ingraham, Jennifer Schultz, Darianne McLaren, name a few women.
The Modifieds, will be racing in a 40 lap competiton. Jimmy Blewett's point lead was slashed to 34 points after he was involved in a early race incident in the second 40 lap main event. Blewett, returned to the fray with three laps old and finished a respectable tenth to protect his point lead. Blewett, would like to put those events behind him and, keeping his focus on winning his third Modified crown. Steven Reed, won the second main event of the year and, is the current defending two time track king. Reed, is also in the title search before the regular season concludes. Andrew Krause, whose victory was hit with controversy when he was going through a nasty battle with leader Shannon Mongeau lap after lap. When the white flag was displayed, Krause dove into Mongeau sending him into the back stretch wall and, landed on his roof. Mongeau, wasn't injured in that violent crash and, his #31 was carried hammock style. When Krause was awarded the win, he was showered with violent jeers and obscenities from a hostile crowd. This coming week, those drivers wanted to put that evening behind them once and for all. Derek Hopkinson, still in the top five in points with a pair of checkers. 17 year old phenom Blake Barney continues on his focus on strong finishes and eyeing Rookie of the year at his grasp.
The Limited Late Models are the headliners of Ladies Night and, will be taking 50 tours around the high banks. Glen Conk, Sr. of Jackson; was extremely close of winning his second LLM career last Saturday until a caution was brought out. On the restart, two time champion Brian Doyle passed Conk and won the event. In fact, it was Conk's first race since his white #17 suffered engine failure and, thought his season was over. Glen, isn't the only Conk racing in that division it was his elder brother Howard, Jr. raced for years and won several times. Brian Doyle, currently leading the division points.
Tyler Truex, is the current point leader in the Sportsman with three wins. Truex, is best know as the cousin of NASCAR Monster Cup star Martin Truex, Jr. who also started his roots at Wall Stadium.
Factory Stocks and 4-Cylinders are also on the card. Legends, has the night off.
