Samuel F. Riggleman, Jr., 71, of Farmingdale died on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune Township.
He was the proprietor of Sam’s Racing Stuff, a Nascar racing collectibles business in Wall Stadium and Collingswood Auction.
At Wall Stadium and other local tracks, he raced stock cars including foreign compact mini-stocks, modern stocks, and street stockcars.
He was predeceased by a brother, Ronald Riggleman.
Surviving are his wife, Carol Seit Riggleman; two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Elizabeth Riggleman and Scott and Nancy Riggleman; a brother, Raymond Riggleman; two sisters, Carolyn McCauley and Kathleen Beckett; and four grandchildren, Tizzy, Alexis and Bailey Riggleman and Thomas Vacca.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Higgins Memorial Home, 20 Center Street, Freehold on Saturday, February 24 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. followed by memorial services at 5:00 p.m. Memorial donations to Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club, 438 Third Avenue, Brick, N.J. 08724 would be appreciated.
