WALL TOWNSHIP, N.J. ~ Championship point races that have raged through the summer months will be decided as Wall Stadium Speedway settles the top spots in the stock car racing series this Saturday night (Oct. 2). Grandstand seating on “Champions Night” will open at 4:00 p.m. with qualifying beginning at 5:00 p.m. and main event action to follow at 7:00 p.m. All main will events offer double points

In the Modified ranks Holmdel's Andrew Krause is at the top of the point rankings as he seeks second straight speedway crown. Still, Steven Reed of Jackson, Brick's Eddie McCarthy and Farmingdale's Tommy Martino, Jr. are within striking distance. The Modifieds will compete in a double point 40-lapper.

Carsten DiGiantomasso of Jackson is at the top of the Sportsman chase going into Saturday’s double point 25-lapper. Still, Howell's Kevin Davison Manahawkin's Jake Nelke and defending champ Jarret DiGiantomasso of Jackson all have a shot at the crown.

Elliot Wohl of Beachwood is looking for his third driving title, but Manchester's Scott Riggleman and Neptune City's Bryan O'Shea still have a shot at the Factory Stock points title going into the night’s double point 25-lap headliner.

The Legend Cars find point leader Quinn Trimmer of Waldwick and Mason Magee of Northeast, Md. at the top of the title chase with double points offered in the 25-lapper.

In the Fast 4 Stocks Alonzo Morales of Burlington, Mike Lavery of Orangeburg, NY and defending champ Ryan Maher of Neptune, City are the top point drivers going into Saturday’s double point 25-lap point finale.

Saturday’s schedule will see the competitor pit area open at 1:00 p.m. Regular practice will start at 2:30 p.m., while spectator seating will open at 4:00 p.m. Qualifying starts at 5:00 p.m. with main events at 7:00 p.m.

Once the Saturday night regular season has concluded the “Cliff Krause Memorial” is set for Saturday, October 9, and the annual “Turkey Derby” will be presented in late November. Turkey Derby events will start during the daylight hours.
