2023 Season in Limbo  

With rumors, fear and, dread that were all over the internet recently about Wall Stadium Speedway's 73rd Annual Season is unexpectedly in doubt. 

Unexpectedly, an environmental matter was taken place. The reason: environmental testing relates to the sale of land adjacent to the speedway and the building of warehouses. The property surrounding Wall Stadium on two sides (beyond the backstretch and alongside turns one and two) had been sold late last year.

For months, Emily Krause had been putting together the best schedule for the loyal fans to enjoy since, her family leased the property in 2011. The extra distance events such as the Garden State Classic, Cliff Krause Memorial, Summer Scorcher and, the season ending Turkey Derby were the mainstay of the facility. Originally scheduled was the Nascar Whelen Modified Tour (July 8) that originally had been scheduled is now in the holding pattern. 

With two tracks remain for now is New Egypt Speedway in Ocean County and, Bridgeport Motorsports Park in Gloucester County. 

For now the drivers and loyal fans will have to play the waiting game.
