Looks like John Mc and Mark Yaple got both correct with their "A.M. (Al Michalchuk) & W.R. (Wayne Reutimann)" responses:
Many will remember the Paul Blair #3 driven by Wayne, and the no# car in the photo above is actually the red #37 that was driven by Al Michalchuk.
Honestly, I didn't think anyone would know that it was Al Michalchuk in the car on the outside because, first, there is no # on the car, and 2nd, this car only lasted a few weeks... Al drove it appears above, for about 2 weeks, and it had a #37X on the spectator side:
He then put a #292, and flipped it, and I'm pretty sure that the first time out with the new #, he flipped it down the frontstretch at East Windsor a few weeks later....
If you couldn't tell by the car, you might have been able to tell it was Al by the way he leaned way over to the left through the corners:
Having looked at 1000's of pictures since starting The Vault, I can only think of a handful of guys that always leaned through the turns like that.... Gary Balough is one of the others.
Any other "leaners" that you can think of?
