I like the description of the car, where they mention that the engine is where the seat should be.  Noticed Terry Ebersole's name in there too.


I'll bet that Gus never had another failure on any of the cars he wrenched of the $0.05 piece of steel that was mentioned in the article.  Wonder if Gerald would have won that race, if he might of had other opportunities in racing.  Might have been good for Gerald, but I'm glad I got to see him run every week at Flemington in the early/mid 70's in the #76, and at East Windsor a few years earlier in the #707.
