Wanda Kelly Passes After Lengthy Illness

After battling a lengthy illness, showing her fighting spirit, Wanda Brzyski Kelly, wife of five time United Racing Club sprint car champion and standout dirt modified racer Dave Kelly, passed away at the Stuart F. Meyer Hospice House in Palm Coast, Florida on Sunday, November 5.
Wanda and Dave were married for 33 years. She was 64.
She was a graduate of Elizabeth Town College in the early 1970’s. Wanda was the first female supervisor in the Mack Truck manufacturing plan and continued working for them for 28 years even moving to the Carolinas with the company.
Moving some years back to Florida she obtained her real estate license putting her dynamic personality to work and was an outstanding real estate sales person in the Ormond Beach, Florida area where they made their home.
Wanda was an ardent golfer. She also was a big fan of NASCAR racing and football.
She was very much involved in Dave’s racing career over the years.
She was preceded in death by her parents John and Sophie Brzyski.
She is survived by David and sons Brian (Jennifer) Kelly, and Mark (Melissa) Kelly along with grandchildren Grace and Jack.
A private memorial service is being held in Ormond Beach on November 16th. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Florida Hospital Hospice Care.
