"Nazareth CART snow-out.. April 9, 2000" Yup... it can still snow anytime in April and eighteen years ago today it did. I figured that there was no way that the CART race would be snowed out on that Sunday, since the temps were so warm the day before. Heck, I remember getting a sunburn from shooting that Saturday USAC race at Nazareth. I'm pretty sure it was t-shirt weather on Saturday. I couldn't believe it when I looked out the window on Sunday morning and everything was white. Snow was falling and there were several inches of snow already on the ground. I drove right to the track, thinking there might be some unique photo opps, since I didn't recall an Indy car race ever getting snowed out before. The races were canceled and that was a bummer.
