A few new additions to www.culverautoracingmuseum.com The first photo is a 1937 Ford believed to be one of the oldest surviving race cars from the Delaware area. Driven in the 50s by Speedy Jester as the 42jr it went through a chain of ownership and ended up with Bill Towers as the #2. The car was used in the 1976 movie "Greased Lightning". The car has been mechanically restored and will remain in its current state of preservation. The second photo is of a Bandit Chassis we saved a few weeks back. Belonging to the #3 Mason-Dixon race team. This chassis was built by Walt Breeding. The chassis will be restored and assembled to match the #3 Modified that Bobby Wilkins drove and won Championships with at Bridgeport and US13 Speedways. Photos are my own.
