SATURDAY NIGHT QUICK RESULTS FROM GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY
DANNY SNYDER WINS FIRECRACKER 40, CRAIG VON DOHREN TOPS IN MODIFIED FEATURE, AND BRAD ARNOLD WINS SPORTSMAN FEATURE AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY SATURDAY
Bechtelsville, PA July 7, 2018 . . . NASCAR Late Model point leader Danny Snyder took the win in the biggest event of the season for the Late Models, the Firecracker 40, on Saturday night at Grandview Speedway. Defending Modified champion Craig VonDohren drove to his second T.P.Trailers 358 Modified 30-lap feature win of the season and young Brad Arnold was able to drive to victory in the 25-lap NASCAR Sportsman feature race.
Chasing Snyder to the finish line was defending champion Chuck Schutz. Wayne Pfeil came home third while Sean Merkel and Brian Shuey rounded out the top five.
Current NASCAR Modified point leader Mike Gular had a strong second place finish to VonDohren while Jared Umbenhauer came home third. Duane Howard finished fourth followed by Jeff Strunk.
Finishing second to Arnold was Louden Reimert who is in the chase for the Sportsman crown. Brad Brightbill grabbed third followed by Kyle Lilick and Mike Lisowski.
Coming up on Saturday, July 14th, 7:30 p.m. another exciting evening of NASCAR stock car racing on the high banks. Included in the Whelen Engineering sponsored tripleheader show will be the T.P.Trailers NASCAR 358 Modifieds, Sportsman and Late Models. Spectator gates open at 5 p.m.
