Asphalt: Bodine #99
I see someone above described it as ugly.... Can't imagine anyone who actually saw that car race in person who would describe it as ugly unless maybe back in the day it spanked their favorite coupe or something... But that's ok. It's an opinion question and we all like what we like, and don't like what we don't like. No explanation needed
The #99 had some trick stuff, won a lot of races, and was one of the coolest cars I've seen on track (dirt or asphalt.) To me, Geoff brought a gun to a knife fight with this one..... Might be one of the few cars from the 70's that ran at Trenton, at Wall, and it even made an appearance at Flemington for an All Star event. The way the car was painted complemented the body style and gave the car great balance. Also had just the amount of rake to it. Geoff sitting in what would be the backseat, to the point that when he went down the straightaway, all you could see was two arms reaching out of the backseat, holding on to the steering wheel, which was just about where the back of the front seat would have been on a stock production car.
Dirt: Don Kreitz #69
Don't think I ever saw it run, but or me, this on has just the right look.
