Well, I'll play the devils advocate here. The move that Logano made...first of all...it wasnt a solid drive up the track. It was a typical bump and run situation that occurs often during a season. The difference here is that it was a "local boy" that got the short end of the stick. The bump and run is an accepted tactic these days...moral?...dirty?...unethical? Thats up to personal opinion. Fact is, its accepted. All drivers know that.

Truthfully, I would have preferred that Martin win, I was cheering him on right to the end. Tkes rouble is, just because Martin ran him clean, does not mean that Logano had to abide by tge self imposed principles that Martin abides by. An accepted practice is accepted. When Martin took the lead, he accepted the fact tgat he might be knocked out of the way by a driver who was willing to employ an accepted practice. It was a high stakes situation. Martin should have hoped to get away from him but he couldnt.

An d one last thing, in either the pre-show or the actual race broadcast, one of the talking points was the fact that each and every chase driver was polled about if they woud dump someone in the exact situation that occurred. Sorry to tell you that to a man, every one of them..Martin included, said yes, tgey would turn or bump someone out of the way to gain entry into the final four. I didnt make that up...it was stated in tge broadcast. Hate away if yiu must, I have big shoulders. I myself wanted Martin to win, but I wont let sentimentality cliud my judgement.
