A thought....

Talking completely out of my A$$ here but I had this conversation once with my father.  It started from the photo of my father's car fipped on its side.  In the background is Al Tasnady's car, also on its side.

My father said Tas was a talented driver, but at times he was a bit of a kamikaze.  He ran wide open and either won or crashed spectacularly.  Now before I offend anyone about Tas, I will say that he was speaking in context of that crash in particular.

While discussing the incident we speculated that he bounced around alot because people were sick of him tearing up their stuff.  While they loved when he won, but often times they could not afford to keep going with him.

Anyone think there is any truth to that?

Incidentally, I did see Ploski run when I was a kid (I was a huge fan) and I don't recall him being hard on equipment so the pattern doesn't seem to hold up in his case.  Can't say about Olsen or others that bounced around.

About this image.

This picture hung on the wall in my father's garage for years.  That's him to the extreme left side of the photo. Tas's car that he was talking about in the incident is in the background.

I finally took a photo of his image with my cell phone the last time I was at his place.
