Thats pretty cool. Also cool your Dad was involved with your racing.
I considered Flemington the "Big Stage", especially if you went to school around there.
That means there was a lot of people in the stands that knew you, and that added a lot of pressure the first time out.
My first race, (in the AMSA mini stocks) was at Flemington, during my junior year at Hunterdon Central.
The car broke on the pace lap of the heat race.
Had to hear all the snickers come Monday morning....
