I had little choice Joe.

When I was 15 my Dad took me and the car to the Nazereth 1/2 mile, to drive the racecar in the sportsman class of the time.

When I asked him how I was supposed to do so he said put this drivers uniform on and act like you are 17.

I did so and they let me on the track, it was a disaster at best.

However several years later when I began in the Rookie Class at Flemington this experience, as awful as it was at the time, helped a good deal.

If you start driving at Flemington in your teens there are few tracks that will freighten you, ever.
