I am thinking that happened in the early 80,s. Funny thing is our buddy the tow truck driver, Joey had a camera in the tow truck with him and he gave me a few shots of the wreakage being hooked up and towed. I have to hunt around and I maybe able to find them. It wasnt pretty! Lol
There was not much to repair because the motor was almost sitting on my lap. No part of the car was straight. I wanted to work something out with Bud and make it right. He told me not to worry about it,because it could happen to anyone. He was a good guy. Funny thing was a few years later when I was building cars with Walt Breeding,I wanted to make it right and give Bud a chassis amd some parts but he told me thanks but not to worry about it. He was no longer in racing. Funny how things happen.
