While walking around the P'burg Mall before the Dirt Track Heroes Show today, I heard a voice that was familiar. It was none other than modified racing legend, Gerald Chamberlain. I just got done looking at one of Gerald's old jackets moments earlier, on the far side of the vacant store-turned racing display. I talked briefly to Gerald and then asked him if he would be kind enough to walk way back to that coat, that I just saw, and maybe pose for a picture. Gerald was so cool and gladly did that for me. It was an honor and a privilege running into Gerald today. Man, he sure thrilled us all at Reading, Flemington, Nazareth and Middletown, back in the day.
