It’s almost like the day Earnhardt died, they started screwing stuff up. The cookie cutter 1.5 mile tracks, taking races out of the south, where their base was,a jet setting Brian France that cared nothing about racing, the goofy cookie cutter cars, even the over the top safety stuff. I have heard that Earnhardt had a hand in keeping a lot of stuff old school, and it may be true.

Small tracks, cars created by the manufacturers, innovations that the crews come up with and can actually use, even a good old tire war! That was a wild couple years when Goodyear and Hoosier went at it. All that stuff would make it better.

These new guys can drive these cars, power brakes power steering, computers, 99.99999% chance you won’t even get hurt if you roll 10 times and hit the wall head on, tiny, cookie cutter drivers.

I liked Junior, but would he have even been a NASCAR driver without Senior? Hell, Kelly was supposed to be the kid that could drive!

Kyle Busch is a race car driver. If you haven’t done so yet, listen to Juniors podcasts called Dirty Mo. lots of insights.
