I just wanted to get some opinions??? i have been a dirt track fan for 40 plus years and i still enjoy getting my Area Auto Racing News every week. I enjoy looking through it and it keeps me abreast to what the tracks have on their weekly schedule, where the big races are, and what they are paying to win in bigger events. I fully understand how the print media is almost gone and newspapers are almost obsolete, but certain traditional papers/prints will always be used by loyal fans/followers. I do go on social media but do not live there.
Earlier today I noticed Big Diamond canceled their show for tonight. I had no idea they were even running tonight. I know advertising is not cheap, but i can't imagine a small add it the racing paper would break any track's bank?? I cannot understand why a track would refuse to put weekly ads in the AARN ? If only a few people would see the add and venture to the track the ad would probably pay for itself. I am just wondering if there are many people left like me who still keep up with local dirt track racing via the AARN ? I am not just picking on Diamond, because i know there are many other tracks that are the same way. Any thoughts????
