Thanks for all that work Jeff, and for posting the link to your site for those who are interested in learning about some of the early NJ Speedways.  Great stuff.

Lots of mentions of Wally Campbell and Frankie Schneider.... Man did those guys win a lot.

Skimming through it, I see that they way back in 1949, they had races where the last place driver had to pull in each lap until only a few were left.  I thought that was kind of a new idea in the world of racing promotions.... 

Also, very interesting on page 106 where the drivers had been racing under the idea that there was a $4000 point fun at the end of the year, and then found out that it was "a gag."  Driver's protested and refused to run the features, and looks like they had the support of the fans in making that decision, with Parker Bohn addressing the fans on the PA system.  That happened at the end of the 1950 season, and a new promoter was in place to start the 1951 season.
