Growing up in the 1950-60's and heading to the races each week I would take close note of the cars, the model, and all of the "little" details of each modified or sportsman. If a car was in a wreck we would always feel confident that that driver and car would return the following week with the car all neat and clean. We always thought they returned with the same car unless the driver switched from a coupe to a sedan. Here we are 55-60+ years later and only now I am realizing, through all the pictures on Three Wides, how many cars a particular driver or owner went through, or how many multiple owners a car would have. The first example that comes to mind is when Tas dumped the Poscopo 39 at Reading and return the following week. We all thought it was the same car all repaired and neat and clean. Only now do I realize that there was more than one identical 39. Does anyone else have the same thoughts?
