OCFS, Crew, pits outside of track.
Looks like OCFS is on to something with no haulers on the infield. Great to see a whole race there instead of bits and pieces of it.
Show started late due to the heavy afternoon rains, but when OCFS has water, the racing is very good.
Regular show, 35 laps with handicapping. Very good racing, multiple grooves and passing. Young Dylan Steuer (started third) did a great job holding off and pulling away from four of the best, Mahaney, Sheppard, Perrego, and Friesen. Basically a low budget team with an 18 degree big block, but he had it hooked up. Nice young man whose mother died when he was 7 and was raised by his racing father. Good, hard working people who love racing. Watch this kid.
Announcing is very good with Tim Pitts. He knows his stuff with the drivers and the cars and mixes in some fun stuff and alot good sayings. Enjoyable to listen to.
OCFS is doing a good job with what they have, to make a show, like most tracks. Going back this Thursday for twin 50's for Modifieds. Also USAC sprints.
