Went to Selinsgrove for night 3. They had the track a little slower than 2 weeks ago and I think it raced a lot better.Really fun having Kyle Larson and Rico Abreu in the field all week. NASCAR's loss with Kyle is dirt racing's gain.He is a talent that comes along maybe once in a generation and although I'm sure he misses the money, I'm glad he is no longer stuck in a situation driving a 3rd rate car in a series I no longer care to watch.
Planned on going home on Mon but after the amazing show we witnessed Sat we decided to go back to Lincoln.Rico was on the gas and was the happy winner. We ran into him in the parking lot Sun night told him he looked like he was back and ready to win after struggling the past couple of years after a bad wreck at Eldora . He actually passes Detrich for the lead at Selinsgrove before settling for 2nd.
Came home today and my son drove to Grandview. Just got the news that the Kings Royal will not be run this year as well as the Knoxville Nats. May just have to reload the wallet and the old Winnebago and head back out for the rest of speedweek
