Attended as crew in the pits.  Although, besides not sitting in the grandsatnds all night, of all tracks, you feel like a fan because you are so close to the grandstands, hearing the PA and also watching all activities from the main grandstands throughout the night.

First time there, (but have watched most on TV) Doug Rose nailed it. What a track! Perfect size and configuration for the Modifieds.  Not sure I want to watch 410's there, might be too scarey.

Announcers were excellent. Shane Andrews, I feel, is the best out there. He understands to make you feel welcomed, he explains very clearly the procedures, introduces you to the players, and carries the night like a good talk show host.

Lighting and sight lines are near perfect. The only thing the show lacked was the behind the grandstand line up experience for the fans. Not sure if it's still possible with the new track, but that was definately the most unique in racing.

Tires were issue, but being with Stew, we used a 2 year old tire with some Oswego laps on it that hardened up a little. It showed early as he dropped from ninth to eleventh early, but you could see after about twenty laps it really came in.. Looked like a basketball after though.

The rutt off two has been there all year. It makes for some character in the track, but should be eliminated because if you hit it just right it really disrupts things.

A great gesture by Doug Rose and his team, a pizza delivered to every team there. Went a long way.

Just a great night of racing. Huge crowd of 500 or so (wink wink). Two divisions, Big Block Modifieds and Speedsters, ran like clock work since the first green flag in practice. I missed the Speedster feature, but listening to the PA it sounded like an amazing race and finish. Great time seeing alot of friends at the track including alot of 3 Widers. Thanks for the beer Uncle Tom, but I did hear the dumbest question I have ever heard at a race track. A guy wanted to offer Stew a beer and asked me "Do Canadians drink!?"  We got a good laugh out of that!

Overall I give it a 9.99 on scale of 10. Tracks abrasiveness, BUT NO DUST, took .01 away.
