To defend Wall. I started going in 1972. Can't speak for the earlier years, but the 70's til late 80's were a great time to be at Wall. Big crowds, good car counts , and a great party atmosphere. It was either head to the local bar or to one of the racers house for an all night party usually involving some kind of "unspoken fun". I remember a lot of friends would go to Flemington and leave after the races to catch up with us to "party". Always heard most went to the diners after Flemington. Always when Wall didn't race or rained out, we would head to Flemington.
