Stupid, young me got a few too many speeding tickets in Jersey and lost my drivers license for 30 days. Go figure. So the crew said let's go race in Pennsy where you don't need a drivers license. 1985. We show up at Dorney with a nice low pancake Troyer car. As we pulled in and parked outside waiting to get in, I remember a young kid, maybe 8 gauking at the car in awe and he turns and says "that's the nicest race car I have ever seen, boy are they gonna wreck you!" Could not laugh harder but did make me a little nervous. Had a good time racing there. Ended up tenth in the feature. Funniest part was my picture ended up in Stock car racing Magazine because George Wambold car caught fire as I was going around him.
