As the racing season closes, what do you think is the biggest story of the year? I know there are several to pick just one, but try anyway.
I think the rise of the Bobby Allen World of Outlaw Sprint Team is huge. Bobby started this team on a shoe string budget and took it to almost to the pinnacle of sprint car racing. Logan came into his own this year and Jacob won his first WOO feature.
I know the entire Kyle Larson story is big but I think most folks figured he’d do well in open wheel. Maybe not as good as he did though.
I think Stew not doing as well in the trucks is a big story. Especially after getting help from TRD. I thought he would be competing for wins this year but it never happened.
The battle for dirt Modified supremacy between Shepherd and Friesen was a great story.
