The bare skelton frames were assembled by a guy in the North jersey/Middletown ny area. His name is Ed Kuicken(spelling sorry)..A hellava welder/fitter and a workaholic not like me sleeping till noon..He is related to at the time family of Ray Cook Wheels...

We cut and bent all the 1 3/4 round tubing at my shop in flemington and loaded his station wagon with all we could fit..I think all the 2x4 tubing john had delivered to his house..I would go up with Johns van and open race trailer and bring 3 back at a time(2 on trailer and 1 in van) ready for me to finish...We were pretty busy for about 3 winters building rolling chassis's...Johns Dad Craig McCaughey built some also as did Fred DeGroot and Johnny Harrell...There has to be quite a few around yet as we built about 25/30 my place and the ones the other guys built..Gotta be close to 40 in that 3 year period..Later years Al Jorgensen built some at Johns shop in Belle Meade NJ..Also the Carbury's built some there also...Thanks for noticing me and this is a really great compliment, Thank You HtH..
