Warren: After looking at old aerial pics online and combining them with new aerials it looks like the old Nazareth half-mile stands were in the spot which is now asphalt in the Giant parking lot and to the left (if you are looking at route 248) and forward from the Dollar store. The white line arrow area is the approximate area of the frontstretch. Ignore the question mark that I originally put on the picture because at the time I wasn't sure hold long the grandstand was and how far it should be on the right in this diagram. You can pretty much drive down that spot right now and drive right through where Mario and Aldo Andretti's wheels tracked when they got their first win in the US at Nazareth. That's pretty amazing that we can still drive in the tire footprint area right where the driver who was voted as the "Greatest Driver of the Century" won his first race and think back to that moment. That spot needs to have a historical marker placed there.
