Thanks for posting that Lenny.... I remember that morning... it's from a couple of years back, the photo taking at the Quick Chek (right down the street from AARN's HQ on Broad Street) after we all had breakfast at the Broad St Diner.
I miss talking to Ray. ...1000's of stories.... Ray was a great racer, and a true historian of the sport. A lot of folks don't know this but Ray was very instrumental in the early going's here at 3Wide's. Shortly after I started the site in Nov of 2002, I met up with Ray at the little restaurant on Rt 29 in Washington's Crossing and discussed different idea's for the site. Ray always hoped we could get the behind the scenes comments/stories to go along with the photographs.... to help tell the story and capture what it really was like to be part of the racing community from the 1950's and beyond.
That was a special day... enjoying the morning with Ray and Fred, and a few other friends, and talking about the local racing history of the area.
