I had left modified racing at the beginning of the track tire era. I do however recall size limits at many tracks such as DIS, this was the end of drag rubber as we know it. If you could not use 500 cubic inch injected engines on drag rubber then where else?
92" tires 13" wide on a 800 HP car, fond memories.
