going to wall my dad would always go thought farmingdale the back way in off hurley pond road. we would see the 2jr sitting outside of the gas station getting ready to load up that was a speaical time for me with my dad. he would always slow down so we could check out the famous 2jr.  sculthrope (spelling) garage if i remember right. also going down hurley pond you always got behind a open trailer with a race car on it.

going home was a different story dad had a old flower car he bought from freemens in freehold. well after the races dad would take rt34 home thier was a traffic circle by collingswood you would not dare get on the outside of my ole man going in to the circle. he would dive into that circle with me holding on he didnt care if it was gil hearne nobody was beating dad in to that circle. i laugh about it now,

i miss my dad very much and think about him alot but one thing "he always had time to take me to the races"
