Great story about Old Bridge, I know they (the TQ's) ran there occasionaly, maybe only a few times in the summer, and maybe one or two other tracks until 1962 when Dick Marlow built Pine Brook. I don't know who that was who snagged the wall, but drivers were brave and mended quickly back then, tough bastards they were back then! In 1970 my father (Mel Mondschein) switched from racing oval track sports cars with a group called SCODA, to open cockpit, TQ Midgets. I can remember going to Pine Brook starting around 1968, the year on film here, and as a 8 year old kid thought it was amazing. As life would have it, I ended up racing there myself for a few years before jumping to full Midgets in 1980. Now along with running different vintage race cars, I create, edit, and produce (amature) films so some can re-live, and some can learn what was... Glad you enjoyed our look back at 1968.... Karl
