I was there for practice and the heats til the rain hit Saturday night. The dust was normal, not too bad. The TV camera positions and angles and the sun made it a lot worse then it looked.
It was pretty cool seeing this, but I thought just like Donaldoldschool, should be at a different track like Wilkesboro. Bristol is one of the better tracks, so losing that to dirt does not help.
Kind of wish the Cup cars were going to Knoxville too, a true dirt track, not a made up one like Bristol.
Racing was very good at times. Very impressed with the drivers/teams with limited experience. The dirt regulars, including Stewie, were not factors. Strange how probably the two best, Larson and Bell, crashed together on Bell's mistake.
