. . . for a coupla decades... This was the first Cup race I've watched in its entirety (minus the commercial breaks, of course) in a looong time... I DVR'ed an' watched both races -- only 'cause they were on dirt -- an' really enjoyed 'em both... I'm prob'ly in the minority here, but one of the things I liked most was the absence of green-flag pitstops... Right or wrong, I have very little interest in fuel strategy an' tire strategy an' pitstop strategy... So the planned, timed, non-competitive pitstops were a big plus for me... (Hey, I'd die a happy man if I never again heard the words ``pit-road speeding penalty``!)...
