Michael Waltrip Documentary  

I watched most of it.  I thought it was well made and gave an description of "Mikey's" Nascar career.  I never really was a fan of Waltrip as a driver but, after watching the documentary, I started to think that he was a better driver than what his stats indicated.  Funny story about Waltrip that I witnessed first hand.  A good 20 years or so ago, I had the opportunity to attend a press luncheon held at the Dave & Busters in Philly in support of the September Dover Speedway "Cup" race.  At this particular luncheon, Michael Waltrip was the guest Nascar cup driver.  After the luncheon,  a question and answer session was held.  One of the reporters asked Waltrip what it would take to win the Dover race.  Waltrip thought about it for a bit and answered, "Be the 1st car across the finish line on the last lap".  The room broke out into laughter.  I've come to gain a repsect for Waltrip, for his humor and his insight into the sport.  Scott Ely
