Matheny Update: I talked to Kevin and it's been a little bit of a "slow roll" so far which puts us behind where we were at this time last year in supporting the Matheny Christmas event, so I'm hoping that those reading this who haven't had a chance to put something in the mail (info below on how to contribute) will do so this weekend. Let me also offer huge Vault Thanks to those who already have shown their support through RJC and/or through Kevin's contact info below. You have no idea how much it is appreciated... Without turning this into something that sounds like a PBS fund/pledge drive deal  I was hoping without too much asking, that there's still enough 3 Wider's out there to match what we did in 2021.... and when I saw that we had 1092 unique views in the first 24 hours to the post put up last weekend about our site's 19th Anniversary, I thought we'd be well on our way, but response has still been on the light side. As we've said in the past, not looking for any one person to carry the load, but if 10% of those 1092 folks that read the anniversary post could come through with sending a "something", It would be a big help in supporting the gift gathering that is happening now, and will be happening for the next few weeks. Please be one of those 10%'ers!  To support the effort in his own way, 60's & 70's racer and car builder, and long time Matheny supporter "Racer Ray" Liss (with his trademark smile) offered up the following 3 vintage bumper sticker he had in his garage for many years and thought maybe some of you guys might get a kick out of them:
(Wow... is that last one right out of the early 70's or what.... ) We'll take the names of those we have already heard from (thank you again) and also the names of anyone who has reached out to RJC or to Kevin on/before Friday December 3rd, and we'll put them in a hat on Saturday Dec 4th and will draw one name. We'll let you know here on the board whose name was drawn and once we have you're address, we will put all 3 bumper stickers in USPS envelope and send them to the winner.
