Lemons Racing & Kevin Eyres  

Mr. Eyres, I've completed my homework assignment regarding the "24 Hours of Lemons" (racing).  I can see why you're all hept up about this next step in your driving career!  Based on the youtube clips I looked at, it looks like a crazy, fun time.  I'm guessing that partying is a requirement at these events.  I liked what the guy said in one clip when he was told that all cars entered are worth $500.00.  When seeing some of the entries, his response was "$500.00 my ass!".  But, as you told me, a hot rod deemd to be worth more than $ 500.00 could be penalized a ton of laps, like over a 100!.  Saw a car with a lawn mower mounted on its top racing a Porsche 911 that looked like Sesame Street's Elmo!  Seems like its more of a priority to make sure your coolers are full than it is to have all the tools and spare parts necessary to race 24 hours!  Good luck Kevin.  Not only for the race, but for the post race festivities!  Scott Ely
