“THE SHOW MUST GO ON” DIRT TRACK HEROES EVENT RETURNS TO PALMER PARK MALL IN 2022, MARCH 4 & 5 The 14th Annual Dirt Track Heroes Car Show will proudly return in 2022 with the event again taking place at the Palmer Park Mall in Easton, PA. The show will run Friday, Saturday March 4th and 5th An interesting point about this show is that it is absolutely FREE for the viewing public across all two days Some 85 race cars filled the Palmer Park Mall in 2020 with numerous activities showcasing the fun-filled weekend. 2020 was the first time this event was presented at the Palmer Park Mall, previously taking place at the Phillipsburg Mall in Phillipsburg, NJ. Activities included a Tire Change Competition, the Premio Sausage Eating Challenge, Slot Car Racing, RC Car Racing and a long list of racing celebrity interviews with special guests and racing videos going on throughout the Dirt Track Heroes Show Room. With the absence of the show in 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic the Palmer Park Mall was eager and excited to have it back in 2022. Event organizer Justin Beltrame met with the mall and discussed not only the event but making sure that all health and safety protocols are followed. “This show has been a great social gathering for the racing community but my goal was to bring everyone back together safely” stated Beltrame. Beltrame also noted that due to the quick turnaround to the event that he and his team will have their hands full. Finally, Beltrame added “The racing community is a great community always looking to help each other and the venue is here, we just need to put all the pieces together quickly and I am confident we have the support of the racing community to put on a great show”. For safety concerns the show will be on a smaller scale and interactive events will be limited. The focus on the show this year will be the “Stars of Tomorrow” interview session which will be held on Saturday the 5th. Cars will once again begin showcased in the mall area and we will utilize the old Bon Ton location as the center of the event with the mainstage as well as displays of cars, tracks, and vendors.
