I hadn't heard of him, and unless you've been following Legends racing on a National level, you may not have heard of him either, but for anyone who was at Wall Stadium this past Saturday night, they certainly have heard of him now... both from his performance on the track, and from his excitement shared in victory lane, which then carried over to a well received visit to meet the fans throughout the grandstands before the night was over.

As the Legend's car feature rolled out onto the track, it was announced that it was driver Justice Calabro's first time ever at Wall Stadium and as the race was underway, folks began to take notice of the #77 coupe as Justice led from the early going, but had previous Legends Feature winners, along with the current point leader nipping at his back bumper...  As the laps clicked off, Justice held the right line, lap after lap, even when the car looked to be getting a little loose in the late going.... and much to the enjoyment of those watching, Justice took the checkered flag in a close battle, right down to the finish.

As is the case at Wall, after taking the checkered flag, the winner joins announcer Jeff Gravatt in victory lane to receive the cheers and applause of those in the stands.  As Justice got out of the car, Justice took over with probably one of the most genuine victory lanes that I can remember as with a huge smile, and with an excitement that was well received by all, he thanked the large crowd that was on hand, and added about how great it was to race in front of so many people... He added that he had just wrapped up racing a special event in Charlotte and was on his way up to New England for a race, and they made the decision while heading north, to give the high banks of Wall Stadium a try, something that again, he was absolutely excited to have the chance to do.

Turns out that he's originally from Hollywood CA, and that he and his folks have moved to the Charlotte area...  His excitement and million dollar smile made it obvious to all that he is loving what he's doing, and appreciated the opportunity to share that special moment in victory lane with all who were in attendance at Wall Stadium.

After what might have been a third congratulatory round of applause from the fans, Justice took the #77 back to the pits, but turns out he wasn't done yet...

About an hour or so later, Justice made his way over to the grandstands with a stack of his driver cards and a sharpie, and made his way, up, down, and through the stands, as fans young and old were enjoying the opportunity to say hello to the visiting racer and congratulate him on his win.  Announcer Gary Larsen picked up on what was happening, which only made the visit to the stands even that much more popular.

An impressive drive on the track on his very first visit, and a personality and smile that made a bunch of Justice Calabro fans this past Saturday night at Wall Stadium

....Just might be a young racer to keep an eye on....he has talent behind the wheel, and the vibe that is exactly what the sport needs, at all levels.

Thanks to driver Justice Calabro for making a little bit of magic this past Saturday night, on the track and off at Wall Stadium!
