I always felt that Mark was just as good of a race car driver as his older brother Newt. Believe it or not, I felt the same way with Tim and Billy Pauch Sr. Mark and Tim seemed a bit smoother in their driving styles as compared to their older brothers who were a bit more on the wild, hard charger style. Mark and Tim seemed more calculated. Of course the equipment improved quite substantially by the time Mark and Tim started which was a big factor
