$12 for twin-50s for the mods, twin-20s for the Sportsman class plus street stocks, 4 cylinders and a skid race.
A good time at the races as usual here. Place was very full but not shoulder to shoulder. Well over 12k in attendance I'm sure. Very good car counts. 25 modifieds counting a couple back up cars entered. Show started right at the advertised 8pm start time. We left at 10pm with a street stock race and the skid race remaining and felt we got our money's worth. The all new rest rooms are as impressive as any youd find anywhere. Very clean, bright and modern. I noticed lots of teens hanging out at the races like it's the thing to do for many in Winston-salem in the summertime. That's good for the future of the track.
My only complaint is they seem to throw cautions randomly like the SRX Series. I watched one time and the flagman threw the yellow out and no track crewmen even went onto the racing surface. Totally fake yellow. It is a NASCAR track...
I wont be back there this year as they finish their season this upcoming Saturday but we'll definitely return in the future.
