THE EPITOME OF A GREAT MODIFIED DRIVER !!!

got to watch  him at many tracks over the years , but while racing modern stocks at new egypt in the '70's , was thrilled  to watch him " up close and personal "

what a pro driver !! one night in a NASCAR modified 100 lapper , he and jerry cook ran door handle to door handle for about 40 laps , NEVER TOUCHED !! evans gained an inch per lap and finally got by jerry --one of the greatest modified racing  exhibition  i ever saw !!  2 pros going at it !!
