Merry Christmas and Thank You!   

To all those in the 3wide Nation, here's wishing you a Very Merry Christmas and a healthy, properous 2023.  I'd also like to thank you all for your written post and photos.  They keep the past of racing alive for me, in particular the 60s and 70s.  Regarding the sport today, you 3Widers are constantly giving me insight on today's racing.  I was always told that regarding sporting events, "you see what you want to see".  I've been guilty of that for sure.  Well, sometimes your posts show me a different view on a racing incident and I find out that "my guy wasn't taken out" on purpose.  I especially want to send Joe Macfarlan, Don Wolfe and Kevin Eyres wishes for a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Without Joe, there would be no 3Wide!  I always enjoyed the races a little more when I sat next to Don.  Kevin, a man with a big heart, and a ton of stories. I guess its a good thing I have a bad memory.  I don't see them often, but its time well spent when I do.  I am honored to call them dear friends!  Scott Ely
