I was wrong. I'm not a JJ fan or hater but you race under the rules in place at the time youre racing. He adjusted his style and strategy to run up front with the rules in place at the time and I'm sure he could have adjusted accordingly under the previous rules. He ran 2nd to Kenseth in 2003 in what was his 2nd or 3rd season in Cup. I'm sure he'd have figured it out.
