I previously posted my models of Budd Olson's "Zero" and Joe Bullock/ Gerry Chamberlain 76 coupe.  The attached photos are of Woody Johnson's #68 '37 Ford sedan and Don House's XL-1 '37 Ford coupe.  I came to root for Johnson's # 68 when Dave Hulse strated to drive it after Pete Frazee left the ride in, I think 1964.  The Don House XL-1 is a version that I remember Joe Kelly dominating Wall Stadium in the early to mid 60s.  i always liked how the Lincoln motor was mounted a on such an angle with short injector stacks (altough the actual injectors were tilted towards the center of the manifold).  Both models were built from Revell or Monogram kits.  The 68 small block injectors and quick change rears for both were from Big Donkey Resins.  The decals on the 68 were from Slot Car fever while the XL-1 decals were from Polecatn Decals (which I prefer). Again, my models can't compete with those of Stew Stratton and that latest piece by Steve "Rush Chairman" Cameron (an Indy car).  But, I look at these cars are picture them circling Wall or Old Bridge, and usually battling for the lead.
