Drag Tire Question for Racers/Car Builders

Thanks Howie and clevco for the clarifications. I would also think that the drag tires would give the car more forward bite coming off the corners as the sidewalls grew. PS- I never read Shampines book, just have memories from over 40 years ago as an "Assistant Crew Chief". I always stopped by to at least say Hi! to you Howie after the races. If I can dig up an old photo of me in my 20's I'll post it to put a face to my name! Russ Currie
