We live a little over 2 hours from Bristol. Easy ride over the mountain. The wife wanted to go but when we learned the race was scheduled for 7pm on a Sunday night we knew we weren't going.
We live a little over 2 hours away from Martinsville. The Cup race starts at 3pm this Sunday. Nope,not going there either. It starts too late in the day. They start late because TV dictates it. But they take the TV money knowing many tickets will go unsold because fans who are relatively local don't want to get home at midnight on a Sunday night.
