ARRA Announces Addition of Two More Historians to their Organization

Ringoes,NJ – ARRA…Auto Racing Research Associates are proud to announce the appointment of two more recognized historians to their growing list of members of their auto racing research group!  This brings their total membership to over 40 historians past and present.

“From the extreme Northern part of New York and into Canada to the productions studios of Dale Earnhardts NBC/Peacock TV Dirty Mo studios our newest historians come to us here at ARRA!” ARRA President Fred Voorhees revealed today excitedly.

“I have been working with Kingston, Ontario’s Tim Baltz for a number of years as far as results and statistics on various tracks from Northern New York and especially Canada, where results are famously tough to find.” stated Voorhees from his Ringoes,NJ home office.  A well known announcer at such facilities as the Brockville, Can-Am and Mohawk Speedways, he is also the voice of the DIRT 358 Modified series.  “Timmy was very instrumental in helping me put together my most recent research project, the career research of Danny “ The Pocket Rocket” O’Brien.” Fred let on.  “I am proud to have him come aboard and join us here at ARRA!”

ARRA Historian Bob Markos and new historian Bobby Markos have the distinct honor of being ARRA’s first Father/Son duo historians of the ARRA organization!  Growing up going to the races with his Dad Bob…Bobby Jr. developed a love for the sport.  An accomplished musician, Bobby traveled the country with his music and at the same time…began visiting shut down and long lost speedways.  It became his passion and when he hooked up with Bobby Dillner and they both found their way to an association with Dale Earnhardt and his Dirty Mo production studios, they created the “Lost Speedways” program for NBC/Peacock tv.  Bobby was hired on as a production member.  These days, he is a behind the scenes producer for Earnhardt’s “Download” program.  “Bobby comes to us at this point and I am so glad to have him aboard!  He brings an “entire nuther” level of research professionalism to our ARRA group and I think he will be a great addition and add another depth to our work!” Voorhees remarked when asked about Markos’ addition to the every growing group.   ARRA has also added a page on their popular website shining a light on the auto racing fans and experts who have helped them in their research efforts over the years with their own page titled “Statistical Consultants” and that, as well as our “Hosts” page can be accessed from the websites opening page.  We welcome racing fans to get more familiar with our newest historians and all of our historians by visiting our “Hosts” page here: https://sites.google.com/site/arradocumentingracinghistory/your-hosts

<p>   Auto Racing Research Associates is a growing group of over forty auto racing historians across the country banded together for the purpose of the research, documentation and displaying of auto racing history such as driver win statistics, track, racing series and organizations histories and also the background of racing personalities, particular cars from the past and various other interesting facts of racing history that should not be forgotten.  ARRA continues to build a network of associated auto racing related websites to unite for better chances of furthering the understanding of the past of our sport.  ARRA offers looking up services for those looking for one particular piece of information from the past.  They are the official statistics information source of the Flemington Speedway Historical Society and have been doing much of the research work for a number of years for the Northeast Dirt Modified Museum and Hall of Fame in Weedsport, NY.    We encourage you to visit our new website if you have not had the pleasure yet.
